Very saddlebred in looks, this mare was found with the Elusive Silver Bay and his band.

My last time seeing Golden Boy, who was euthanized due to a serious injury which left him prey to other stallions.  We do not know how his original injury happened, but he was found up against the rimrock, defending his band of mares, while both bachelors and experienced stallions swarmed like sharks, some picking off mares, others in a battle till death.  We are thankful that a fellow photographer was able to find him and alert the BLM so that Golden Boy suffered no more.
